Who I Am

I’m Michael Yessis. I worked as an editor and writer at USA Today, Travel Channel and Aol, and I’ve freelanced for Smithsonian, AARP and other publications.

I began listening to podcasts in the ‘00s while working as a travel writer and editor USA Today and the Travel Channel. I spent a lot of time on the road listening to shows. Naturally I started writing about them. In 2018, I launched This Week in Podcasts.
